The OC Dana Point Harbor shortly after 4 p.m. this afternoon issued a weather advisory for tonight through Wednesday morning:

The announcement says the National Weather Service has issued an advisory for high winds in the Coastal Orange County area.

Beginning this evening and continuing into Wednesday morning the National Weather Service reports that potentially damaging wind gusts of at least 35 MPH are expected.

Winds this strong can create challenging boating conditions and make driving difficult. Everyone should use extra caution, the advisory says.

For current weather conditions or additional information, please visit the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration online at www.noaa.gov or call 858.675.8700.
